Rev. Dr. David J. Venable is a true servant of the Lord. A
humble man whose leadership has championed
resourcefulness and positioning for opportunities across
various industries. Dr. Venable has over 15 years in the DC area, seven years as Campus Pastor at the Cathedral of Christ Baptist Church, and eight years at Redemption Church. He is now the proud Senior
Pastor of the Resurrection Baptist Church in Southeast, Washington, DC, where they have just celebrated 50 years. He also provides support to several leading ministries, conference development, and facilitating for organizations, including T.D. Jakes Enterprises, Temple of Praise International Fellowship of Churches, under Bishop Glen A. Staples, and Higher Ground Always Abiding Assemblies under Bishop Sherman S. Watkins. Rev. Dr. David J. Venable’s humility, love, loyalty and passion for the word of God and people of God are what attract so many to his ministry and work. He is truly a man after the heart of God
and has a heart for the people of God. He has eulogized over 90 Homegoing Celebrations and performed over 50 weddings. Dr. Venable serves in ministry with his mother Brenda Venable Riggins "first mother".
